AF after 3 years

Can't believe I woke up this am feeling normal then suddenly in AF - what a shock. I take Flecanide 100 mg B's & Bisoprolol 1.25mg. It is not as violent as usual - pulse rate 114 to 134. Wonder which med to take an extra dose of. Any ideas?

It's so disappointing I think you must take advice about what extra meds to take. My cardiologist said after an hour to take another flecainide. I am on 50 x 2 flec and 5 mg of bisoprolol. Chris

Sorry to hear that. I was tested in hospital for my toleration of a high dose of Flecainide and was ok. Most people take an extra dose of this tablet, but I would seek advice from your GP or AF nurse.

Back to normal after 6 hours - would have to be the hottest day of the year.

Probably why it happened.! Don't get dehydrated, and don't get too hot.
