So what is that supposed to prove?

It's probably right in my case 😙

True also for me but doesn't explain my large head which might account for a lot of empty space up there

Well how dare they suggest I have a smaller brain! This may well have been a secret I've kept to myself for years. Now exposed to the world! LOL

I always thought that size didn't matter but it was what you did with it that mattered?

"Conclusion

After accounting for vascular risk factor burden, prevalent AF was associated with lobar indices of vascular brain aging but not with expected white matter changes."

This suggests to me that 'a lot of AF episodes' and 'shrinkage which indicates brain aging' are associated. This means that when one occurs the other seems to occur too - but no-one knows if one 'causes' the other, or if they are both the result of something else. However to understand the implications of this and of 'not with expected white matter changes' etc we need a doctor here!

So maybe we AFers are in danger of getting more stupid - or maybe we're not!
