Hello,

Fairly new to the forum. Have been on Warfarin and Bisoprotol for 4 weeks following a recent diagnosis for PAF. Have now developed a chesty cough, and wondered if anybody there could suggest a safe remedy as I know I am restricted through medication. Thanks.

Try searching cough. There was a post about this in the last few weeks.

I think you should discuss this with your doctor as bisoprolol could be the cause. Beta blockers should never be given to those with asthma or a tendency in that direction.

Thanks a lot. Have appointment with pharmacist Wednesday. Will take it up then.

Hi, I'm on bisophonol and developed a wheeze a few weeks ago. Could have been linked to hay fever or increase in exercise but Doc said it could well be a side effect of the bisophonol. As only two weeks away from 3rd ablation they didn't want to mess with my drugs so prescribed an inhaler. It seems to have solved the problem. Interestingly, they said over use of inhaler could trigger AF!

Hi Richard75

This is the worst part of this, the uncertainty. Have an appointment with Doc today, so hopefully he can put my mind at rest. Cheers.

Hi, I find its best to talk to my pharmacy when in doubt as what to take, they are very helpful. Pat
