Dr Sanjay Gupta..Eptopic heart beats "why do I feel them in my throat ?"
Thank you for posting this! I have wanted to know this for ages and neither my GP or the nurse at the hospital could tell me. I'd still like to know why I get ectopics as nobody could tell me that either, what on earth causes them. I went on fine for years with not a problem, then suddenly, bam! Ectopics all day for weeks on end. Exhausting!
Yes, me too. Since being on b12 spray (deficient) and coconut water everyday they have gone. You are right they are exhausting and like you could get no explanation why. If you are B12 deficient as I am it affects the cardiovascular system so maybe that's why they have cleared up with me. I am just so glad they are gone. Good Luck!
That's interesting, I was found to be vitamin 12 deficient nearly 3 years ago and have taken tablets ever since. All my problems started just before Christmas and carried on for four months. It has calmed down somewhat, but still get occasional runs of them. Are you in the UK? I've not seen a spray version.
Hi yes I'm in the UK. The tablets didn't work for me so I use a spray that bypasses the digestive system (I have IBS) I get mine from Amazon It's called 'better you'. I used to get clusters of palpitations and they would last for months on end. I wore the heart monitor and GP said the Cardiologist wasn't concerned. Since using the spray the have gone. I still get the odd flutter but nothing compared to what they were. I feel so much better as like you say they are exhausting. You can also get this spray from Holland and Barrett.
Oh just read in your previous posts that you are menopausal. - ditto. Try the spray it works for me.
Hi, thanks for the info and yes, I will get one of those sprays and try it out. Do you use it every day or just when you have symptoms?
Thank you for this great post. It's really helpful to hear a consultant explain what is happening when ectopic beats occur and why. I would like to email Dr Sanjay directly but cant find the address. Does anyone know if this is possible?
You can contact Dr Sanjay Gupta via his website which is yorkcardiology.co.uk. There is a contact tab at the top of the website page ....I hope this helps.
Many thanks Steve
