Very interesting. I wonder about the emphasis on " recent - onset " AF. For most of us it is really " recently diagnosed ."  I don't know how long I'd had it before they put a name to it. Would it make any difference?

This looks to be about chemically caradioverting patients who present at hospital in AF for the first time. I have never heard of the other drug they mention so unless they use different names over there I have no ideas. I does NOT appear to relate to ongoing treatment of AF.

No its is for cardioverting  - and you are correct it is not an ongoing treatment , but, interesting to see the progress they appear to be making in this field.
