Hi, Has anyone considered the LAAC procedure, or had it done?

My father's blood score is higher than his stroke score so was just wondering if this could be a consideration?

This is sometimes done when the heart is being operated on for other reasons.   I  remember reading that not all hearts have an LAAC yet I don't think it is a common practice to determine this.  There are several types of these devices used in different countries.  Lariat, plug and many other names. Not all countries approve the use of all types and of course each type has its positives and negatives.  3D printers are being used in some instances to get a better result.  I am waiting for the 3D heart.

A Cardiologist suggested the Watchman Procedure for me as the Ablation is too risky as I am underweight.  Have not made a decision yet, need to do more research.   TSS
