Just off for my 3rd cardioversion. How can these things become routine?

Hi Paul - Well, I have to say that I love cardioversions and I'm glad that we are fortunate to be able to have them even if they do become routine. I may be having one myself in a few weeks time and it's so lovely to wake up cured!!

Hope all goes well for you, let us know.

Fingers crossed that it lasts a long time for you. How long did you have to wait with a dodgy pulse before your cardioversion?

I would guess they only become routine when there is a reasonable time between each one. My first CV lasted 13 months and the second, so far, has gone 10 months. If it continues like this, it's a routine I am well satisfied with. I've joined Jean's fan club!!

Hope all goes well. I have had four cardio versions. Back in AF now. The last procedure lasted a very short while, and that proved to be my last one. Eventually they have to draw a line and finish with them
