This is quite common and more about you being aware of your heart than anything else. That is the trouble with we AFers we get too darned sensitive.

Lying on your back can do that particulary at night. You'll have to turn on to your side. Phil

Ditto for me. I have to lie on my right side, can't lie on my left, though I can sometimes lie on my back.

I find it impossible to sleep on left and if I turn over in a deep sleep wake up with a jolt. Sometimes I can sleep on right but usually later on in night or just after I wake up. Spend most of the night on my back

Many thanks to you all for your replies, since becoming a member of the AFA I have learnt so much from you all. Not knowing anything about AF I thought having Cardioversion would have solved the problem!! I most certainly have a greater understanding of AF and the journey it puts us on! Thank you Everyone....
