Normally Bisoprolol (beta blocker) is a no-goer for Asthmatics. I take Diltiazem and Losartan Potassium for my AF. Most AF medications clash with Ventolin but my Asthma is well controlled with Qvar auto-haler, which agrees with me. I was on Clenil but it was not controlling my Asthma. When absolutely necessary I do take Ventolin but it is very seldom since I have been on breath activated Qvar. Just need it when I have a lung infection.

Hope all goes well with your meds but do watch the affects of Bisoprolol with your Asthma.

Symbicort 200/6 1 puff twice a day. I used to have a Ventolin inhaler but seldom used it, I was told I could use my Symbicort as a reliever as well so as it works really well I dropped the blue one. I was told I could not have a beta blocker and NSAIDs are a nono as well.

I take Propafenone for my AF (also not great for asthma) and Diltiazem and Rivaroxaban plus Ranitidine for reflux exacerbated by other drugs!

Sounds similar to the one prescribed after ablation?

Forgot to mention Cetirizine! And did I say all these drugs cloud your brain?!

Look into singulair, it has made my asthma disappear completely.

I looked it up, think I'll stick with what I've got, forgot to mention the Cetirizine for allergy.

I have been prescribed Symbicort as my previous inhalers exacerbated the AF. I have not been able to take Ventolin for 20 years as it speeds my heart rate too much. Like all of us on this forum medications affect each of us differently. I take Diltiazem, Losartan and Fleconaide for my AF and try to keep my lungs as happy as I can. Anne
