Firstly are you on any medication, because beta blockers can take your blood pressure down very low.

Are you drinking enough fluids because if not that can take BP down low, making sure you are drinking lots of water should raise it.

Now about it being high, well if I get anxious mine shoots up (shows the power of my mind) - so could this be causing yours? With your BP of 139/80 - the top systolic number is only just verging on being a little high, the bottom one is fine. Unless you are very young I honestly I wouldn't worry about that. BP changes constantly throughout the day anyway depending on mood and activity.

Your low BP does sound very low.

My advice would be for you to talk to your GP and discuss all your concerns, he really needs to know these details.

Hope you are soon ok.

I would definitely speak to your GP, or do you have an AF nurse at the hospital where you had your ablation that you could call?

I've had about 5 cardioversions, but what you are experiencing has never happened to me. Are you still on the same medication for your heart as when it was racing before your cardioversion? Is the way your heart and BP are now, making you feel odd? I get the same high heart rate as you when when mine takes off. Hate this condition!!!!

Yes on same meds I also have LQTS so am limited to what meds I can take use don't feel well when BP goes high funny not so bad when it is low but not right yes it seems this condition certainly has a mind of its own they want me to have an ablation in a couple of months just have to have a few tests heart ultrasound ect

My BP was always very low 85/50 and when in AF would often drop to 70/35 or even lower, but never high BP so it was never variable. I never had a cardioversion, just drug managed. It made me feel very ill and I was hospitalised on one occasion and all alarms would go off because my HR would also rise. My HR would always rise to 135+ when my BP dropped.

I was persuaded to take Bisoprolol (which is used to lower high pressure so contra intuitive to prescribe) and when I queried that prescription my GP told me it is used to stabilise BP and indeed that is what it did. I hated other side effects of it but it did stabilise my BP.

I agree, go discuss with your GP or EP.
