Hell All,

Need some clarifications. Time and time again I see EP listed on forum. What does this mean.

A = Electrocardiologist. i.e Cardiologist who specialises in AF etc. and directs the electrophysiologist.

B= Electrophysologist. A persons who monitors the AF patterns via computer readouts . Thank you B.

In UK Eletrophyiologist is the main man. What they call them in the colonies I don't know.

If you look for my Electrophysiologist or EP, you probably won't find him. He's listed as a Heart Rhythm Specialist, or a cardiologist specialising in heart rhythm disorders or something like that. I'm in the UK.

I see that you only joined this forum in Jan 2015. You will probably not have seen Bob's definition of an EP.

" An EP is an electrician whereas a Cardiologist is a plumber."

Not what you're looking for?
