Hi can anybody assist. Just had cardio version and put on beta blocker. Really struggling with cold feet. Went to Doc and prescribed Verapamil and stop beta blocker. Is this as good, side effects do not read well but feet and hands might be warm!

I was on beta blockers and changed to Verapramil and for me it worked - I felt so very much more like me. I got back my energy and became less 'down' but I have never had any invasive action taken to help my AF and has been mentioned many times on this site 'we are all different'.

My hands and nose seem to be cold all the time though, no change there.

Verapamil is a calcium channel blockers you may of been on a Beta Blocker which have different purposes.

Verapamil is something that you also need to keep an eye on as all drugs. I was on it very briefly but I now remember why they took it off me. Our family have a history of low BP which it can lower even further.
