Loop Recorder

I am due to have an implantable loop recorder, as I have variable arrythmias, and maybe 4-6 episodes of pre- syncope annually. Any comments or alternative suggestion?

This seems a good idea if they are still trying to find out exactly what is going on with your heart. I do know of people with these little devices. They seem to get smaller year on year as well!

Yes, I'm waiting for one also. I hope it sorts things out once and for all. I could get fed up with all this dithering about. Hope yours works out well Renoir .

I have one and it helped to detect several problems. I have something called bigiminy. I have one regular beat followed by a very weak beat but sometimes they come in multiples that causes me to feel faint and dizzy. I am now having a pacemaker implanted this Monday. It also caught pounding heart, slow rate, fast rate and afib. The other monitors never detected all this.
