Sorry never had it but think you should discuss with doctor.

Could be tension... Gritting your teeth? I get jaw ache because my jaw is slightly dislocated (childhood encounter with pogo stick). I know it gets worse if I'm tense because I grit my teeth without realising it. Worth having it checked out, as Bob says...

Maybe yea...god knows ill take bobs advice and see gp.
Stress? I get it in the left side of my jaw
Could be grinding your teeth at night when asleep, does it wear off a bit as the day progresses?
Interestingly, I read recently a possibly cause is not necessarily the usual suggestion that it is stress but that when you are relaxed sleeping and you have a jaw/teeth where the molars do not all touch the body tries to correct this by grinding until they do as evidently this sends a relaxed signal via nerves.
i hope its that Orchard? I was worried it might be heart issues...
You may be suffering from Bruxism a gum shield worn at night may help and seek out a good orthodontist who would do a bio mechanical assessment of you bite....C
Thanks Caromia i have a friend who is a dentist!
