Antihistamines
I don;t think I have ever had a problem with either Citirezine or Loratatine and have the latter on prescription so doubt my GP would do that if there was a problem.. Bad pollen count right now isn't it?! Been haymaking up on our hillside garden and eyes streaming.

suziA go to an ezcane (chemist)you might need antibiotic cream if it turns into a blister..
It sounds as if you've got it under control now but I thought I'd share my experience. Just after being diagnosed with AF while on holiday and put on apixaban and bisoprolol (cutting the story short!), I got a large swelling on my neck - which is one of the possible side effects of bisoprolol. I managed to get to see a GP who examined it and gently suggested an anti-histamine would be an appropriate treatment.
I'm not suggesting people should ignore swellings but it did suggest that most anti-histamines are appropriate for people with my conditions and drugs. I got some citirizine and it dealt with the problem quite quickly. YMMV.
Enjoy the rest of your holiday!
I've been taking Citirizine for years and right through my AF time without any obvious problem. My GP is happy that I continue so I guess it's OK.
Asked the doctor a few days ago about Loratidine and he said it is fine to take with Bisoprolol and Warfarin. Was also prescribed this whilst on Diltiazem and Flecainide and Losartan.
