I had a catheter ablation at the beginning of June last year for AF ,AT and atrial flutter . I had a follow up at 3 months and 6 months.

Is that it? Or should I expect other check ups ? I only ask because my local hospital (which is not the one I had the ablation at) has lost my notes on 2 previous occasions so if other appointments are needed I will request them.

I think that depends on whether you still have AF or are OK now. Are you still on drugs (apart from warfarin of course) and has anybody officially signed you off. I would make enquiries if I were you unless you feel that you don;t need them any more.

Hi Bob

Still have PAF occasionly but very mild compared to pre ablation , which was horrendous.Still taking Bisoprolol though and would like to see if I can stop .No I haven't been signed off either. So you have answered the question for me.Will ring the hospital tomorrow. Thanks.
