It has never happend to me before and it freaked me out. There is no apparent reason for me to be nervous apart from that I am traveling soon, but I travel a lot and have never had this before. I am a bit scared and don't know what to do or what to expect to happen next. Any help very welcomed, thank you in advance.

I have just experienced a very strong feeling of nervozity, my hands were shaking as was my jaw when I was talking.
Sounds like it may be an AF attack which has been more extreme that you normally have , assuming that you have AF since you are on this site. .

Sounds like your body perceived something as a shock to your system and the symathetic/para-sympathetic nervous system got overloaded and out of phase. How long did it last for?
Can you correlate it with any other symptoms or events? Was there a sort of adrenaline rush feeling prior to the onset of symptoms?
I have had similar symptoms in a more extreme way, ie whole body shakes, but only when there has been a good reason, ie in fast AF with very low blood pressure, after ablation with complications etc. Both times I had to be medicated.
I experienced it in a very minor way when my para-sympathetic nervous system was triggered by a memory of a childhood nightmare - every time I drove down a particular hill on my journey home from work - crazy or what! I had to change my route home.
Something, somewhere is not quite right, if it happens again pay attention to EXACTLY, including thoughts & memories, what was going on for you just before and during the event, write it down and then try correlate with first time.
