Im on bisoprolol-fumarate and-flecainide acetate together and I'm suffering from a tight chest and breathlessness but no AF attacks! Help!

Hello Jomack. I take Flecainide and have had chest tightness often. My GP has sent me for ecg's each time and nothing has been found each time.

I mentioned it to my EP consultant last week along with other symptoms and he said they were all flecainide side effects.

However if in doubt always check with medical services, not something to leave to chance. Be well.

I've recently been on bisoprolol 1.25mg again and all the old symptoms came back, tiredness mind muddling and internal swelling. I haven't taken it today and have a lot more energy. The doctor advises me to work out what suits me. I'm on Flecainide which has no lasting side effects for me so far and Irbesartan which makes me warm !

There is a consultant visiting the surgery next week to see AF patients and I've booked a session so will see if he has any new ideas on the condition; doctor is interested to know what he thinks. Will let you know. Terjo
