i had my ablation 2 weeks ago and everything was fine intiill last night when my heart felt like it was shaking has anyone had this before

It is also felt like it was beating really hard it was actually really scary

It will take at least three months for things to settle down and you will get odd things happen during this recovery period. This should have been explained to you by the EP or Arrhythmia nurse when you had it done Ring them if you are worried but it really is very early days yet..

Yes, I had that after my ablation in June, but I agree with Bob it's early days for you yet. However, if you are still concerned there is no harm in ringing your GP or Arrhythmia nurse on Monday. Also, unfortunately, I tend to get a strong heartbeat if I eat anything sweet. So bear that in mind too. Keep us informed of how you are progressing and wishing you well.

Not after an ablation, but certainly had the shaking heart. I very nearly dialled 999 as it was so scary. I took a Diazepam and it went fairly quickly (20-30 minutes). I think the anxiety was making it worse and the Diazepam broke the cycle.

Good luck, know how it feels and hope you get over it quickly.
