Anybody else gain weight whilst in hospital for Ablation?

It sounds bizarre I know, but for some reason I now weigh 6 pounds more than I did on Tuesday morning before my Ablation! My weight is normally very stable. Has anyone else experienced this?

I suspect it's a case of the drugs causing you to retain "waste". I've found it difficult to wee after an anaesthetia. Were you just sedated or did you have the full anaesthetic?

It'll wear off after a few days and your body will return to normal.

As you won't be exercising as much for a few weeks you do need to cut back on the carbs though!
