I have been on this for a while now as I has side effects from Warfarin. It works in the same way as Warfarin and has an available antidote in case of bleed. It is only available in 1mg tablets so a little bit different if you were already used to Warfarin doses and colour. I have found no side effects and although my INR is less stable would recommend it to anyone who needs an anticoagulant.

Good luck, give it a try.

Many thanks for taking the time to reply, I found your comments very informative. I have found no side effects so far. Stay well, Beejay

Hi

I was prescribed Sinthrome in Mallorca when I was first diagnosed witrh AF .Since my return to the UK I have been on warfarin. I have noticed no difference between the two. I think it was down to doctor preference. I have now had my second ablation in August and no episodes since. Good luck with the Sinthrome
