I don't know if the same will apply to you but I was told to continue to carry on taking my meds - bisoprolol 5mg ,warfarin 5.5 , simvastatin even on the day of the ablation .I am still taking them 3 months after. I was told that it's necessary to carry on taking them and it would be reviewed at the 3 month or 6 month check up depending on how well you do.

Some EPs . most probably, want you to continue taking any drugs until the heart has had a chance to heal. A very few have a different view but be guided by yours.

I had my ablation recently and advised to continue on my medications till my next appointment within a month time them doctor will advise based on the situation

From my opinion it is more safe since you can't be sure of the oblation success till few months pass without problems

Likewise with me Amiodarone since having ablation done 5years ago. Cardiologist decided to take me off Amiodarone 18months ago and within. 5 months had a TIA. So looks as though it will now be an eternity with me!!
