BNT324/DB-1311

Just type this into your Google search bar. We are in the process of having all the scans/tests/bloodwork etc to make sure he is eligible. Such a difficult journey!

i had found it the problems are locations and whether they are recruiting. also it is a dosage evaluation study. i am almost out of time and need bigger guns.

I Absolutely understand!!! Do you have a good oncologist??

I have two not counting various radiation oncologists. One is a more local guy who might be good and the other is Dr. Raoul Aggarwal at UCSF supposedly one of the best. I like him and find it easy to communicate but I now feel more urgency and need to talk to him about it. This largely constant pain and breaking bones is not where I want to be :)

We live in Dallas and Dr. Aggarwal is one of our oncologist. Actually, we were just in SF last week.

There is a trial there at UCSF he informed us about, yet it isn’t feasible to get out there every 3 weeks.

You should ask him about a clinical trial.

He is good… I suppose but I was disappointed on his 6 months delay of doing another scan besides PSMA. We had 4 of those and nothing showed up. When he finally ordered one with contrast etc., it had already spread.

He kept says CDK12 usually shows up on PSMA. WELL, not in our case.

His PSA rose to 47 before he ordered a CT with contrast.

My hubby is one of about 10% whose PC doesn’t not emit PSMA, thus negative PSMA scans!

He kept my husband on NUBEQA with a rapidly rising PSA also.

I feel he leans to heavily on the “stastics” and not the individual.

But, he is a very kind Doc and caring too but after the “mistake” in delay of scanning, he seemed to be loosing interest and not as eager to be aggressive in addressing the c.

This is just our take on it. He is a brilliant and highly sought after researcher.

Fight for a Clinical Trial!

Are referring to a clinical trial that addresses those with CDK 12?

Yes…. It was one that Dr. Aggarwal suggested they are doing at UCSF. I’ll try and find the name of it. You might just Google “Clinical Trials at UCSF”

i have an appointment with Aggarwal soonish and also a message in to him on the patient portal.

it’s called “Zenith” try looking it up under Clinical Trials, Zenith .

sounds doable my reading suggests that there is one 30 minute infusion and the rest of the treatment cycle is oral drugs? I can not afford to live in SF for a month but it sounds like this is not necessary? repeat every 21 days?
