Drug to fight cachexia in cancer patients phase 2 trial

seems to have good results with cachexia. Not tested directly on prostate cancer patients but could be promising.

I would not bet too much on the “increase muscle mass” as the patients in the trial did not have a cancer that required adt…but

thank you for posting this today, it seems as though it was an answer to prayer. They told my dad he has this and it seems prognosis is not good. I will be looking into this drug

I don't know if they can extend the trial but I hope they will start phase 3 soon since it looks like it's the only existing drug directed to cachexia
