Hii

I was going through some article regarding prostate cancer and found that some CC260 , a drug that attacks PI5P4Kα is under research .

Many cases of prostate cancer can be treated through treatments that lower testosterone and other male sex hormones, but about 10–20% of prostate cancer cases resist treatment within five years. This treatment-resistant prostate cancer can then spread to the rest of the body, where it becomes deadly.

In one website they are having one drug CC260(not for sale) which inhibits PI5P4Kα and PI5P4Kβ,though very initial stage but some research over net says , it may be a new and much effective therapy for metastatic hormone resistant prostate cancer.

Anyone having any idea regarding this?

I keep on searching for next option when current medicine for my father will fail.

To get better results and fight better,

try to search (Dendritic cell) Immunotherapy. It is available in India. It is not available in USA so many patients travel outside of USA to get this treatment.

Another questions, Does your dad take Abiraterone and Bicalutamide together?

Isn't Provenge a dendritic immunotherapy? Or not?

Yes different provenge build t-cell from blood and dendritic build from biopsy tissue

This seems to say Provenge used "ex vivo processed dendritic cells." How that fits into things, I'm not sure.

No only Abiraterone only , Bicalutamide was given 15 days prior to Lupron and continued for 1 week after Lupron .

Yes , there is one Doctor in Delhi (India) who advocate and administer Dendritic cell therapy , will meet him once in coming days
