Age 71. I was diagnosed as Prostate Adeno stage 4 in March of 2024 by biopsy, MRI, CAT and NUC. PSA 85. Pelvic lymph nodes Mets but no bone mets.

I have started on Leuprolide and Apalutamide for roughly 60 days. PSA has dropped to 8.0. Pain meds needed on a daily basis to be able to sit down or walk around. I just ordered Fenben, curcumin, Vit. E,, Soursop oil, Moringa oil, Wormwood extract and other vitamins. I have seen people cured of Hepatitis A using Moringa while in the PH. Am a believer. Cut the sugar and carbs out of my diet and increased the roughage and veggies. Not sure what the future holds but I am reading everything I can find. I have enlisted the help of an old friend Ph.d chemist.

Time will tell

Hello Cebubob,

pain meds are due to cancer or due to something else?

Can you get a PSMA scan?

Do you plan to treat it with radiotherapy or something else?

As I just began hormone therapy, I'm not sure what happens next. Depends on how my prostate responds. I have heard about Cyber Knife radiation and it is available locally. Would like to hear from anyone who has had this treatment.

"Pelvic lymph nodes Mets but no bone mets... Pain meds needed on a daily basis to be able to sit down or walk around."

I have cancer remaining in prostate and spread only to nodes in pelvis and abdomen, but I don't feel that or have pain. Where is your pain? It might not be related to the cancer.

My pain is in the perineum and pelvic region. Oncologist says from enlarged prostate. Xrays and scans confirm his opinion.

You have not put info in your bio. It appears that you have not had the prostate itself treated with surgery or radiation, and probably that is not done since there is metastasis. But an enlarged prostate by itself is not painful, so it may be the cancer in the prostate that is causing the pain. I have cancer remaining in my prostate after radiation in 2021, and I did begin to feel something unpleasant last winter before I started ADT with Orgovyx and Abiraterone.

I was told that I could not treat or debulk the cancer in the prostate because it had spread to nodes, but that the ADT should reduce the cancer. And that has been true -- the PSA dropped to 0.03 and II no longer have any discomfort down there. In your case, I would have thought that 60 days of ADT would reduce the pain down there.

No pain reduction yet, I can only hope. Searching this site and others for any and all legit remedies. Just beginning to fight this.

I know a man who had GS7(4+3) and also urinary problems because of enlarged prostate. And due to urinary problems he chose surgery instead of radiation. You wrote that you have only positive lymph nodes and no bone mets, so even surgery may be possible.

Debulking the prostate using radiotherapy should be possible even with spread to nodes. Quote from Tall_Allen's blog: "Survival increases were also noted among men with only pelvic lymph node metastases (N1M0), in whom whole pelvic radiation may be curative."

Source: Survival benefit to debulking the prostate with radiation in men with low metastatic burden prostatecancer.news/2018/09...

You may also look at these 2 books to know more information:

- Mark Scholz MD, The Key to Prostate Cancer (prefers radiation over surgery)

- Dr. Patrick Walsh's Guide to Surviving Prostate Cancer (prefers surgery over radiation but contains a lot of information)

My prostate pain goes far far beyond unpleasant I assure you. Have not had radiation or surgery, no. I have been asking my oncologist what next and if Cyber knife radiation is warranted. I do have mets in pelvic nodes. I have no idea about protocols or flow charts regarding treatments go, would like to see one.

So I was and am afraid that the feeling from the tumor in my prostate would go from unpleasant to painful if the ADT did not shrink it. Unlike me, your prostate has not been radiated so the salvage protocols do not apply. I believe you are free to have surgery or radiation to relieve the pain if your ADT is not doing it.

vitamin E feeds prostate cancer, I would avoid it, I was told this by Oliver Sartor my prostate cancer oncologist. I’d be careful with the other oils and supplements you mentioned too, supplements have little or no effect on cancer.

Initial search on the web has revealed many opposing views on Vit. E efficacy. Some say coupling E with Fenben is a successful way to go. My jury is out. I will continue searching and reading until I am satisfied I find some truth. I welcome any and all inputs. thanks

I’m just sharing what one of the top prostate cancer doctors in the world told me. He said stay away from vitamin E and B12 they feed cancer.

How do you know about the spread or lack of spread? Scans other tests? Have you been to a radiation and medical oncologist?

We have a large friends group of Filipinas and their American husbands in the SW Washington area. Many Bday parties and celebrations, PH style. Many of them are managing Care Homes. But seriously:

I am doing a literature search for Prostate Cancer remedies. How is it that there is not a widely available chemical available that mimics, or is a glucose molecule with an attachment subgroup that poisons cancer cells? All that is needed is a change in pH beyond normal cell growth range. I myself have witnessed two thyroid carcinomas 100% reversed with honey and sodium bicarbonate in water taken orally for a matter of months. Of course there is no profit in healthy people, only sick people. Who out there can guide my search?

Answer: Since Filipina wives are so smart and usually manage the family treasury, I think it should definitely be your wife by a long shot......

p.s. At the next Pinnes party, you're welcome to sing my karaoke part(s) and you can eat all of my balut.
