Anusol with hydrocortisone is frequently prescribed. You can take a stool softener. It is important not to strain, which can create bleeding hemorrhoids. It may feel like there is something in there that needs to be squeezed out - it's a false feeling - it's called "tenesmus" - it's caused because inflammation in the rectum feels to the nerves in there like a pressure. Your pain is caused by inflammation, so antiinflammatories may help.
Your bio asks re PSA, "Has anyone had results with Tumeric? " I was not aware that it affected PSA. I put a lot of turmeric on my salad every day, but it would not be a medicinal amount, and any effect on my PSA would be lost in the dramatic drop caused by Orgovyx and Abiraterone.
I think RT usually avoids bowel problems. I had 20 sessions of IMRT without rectal spacer in 2021 and had no problems. My fewer sessions would mean higher dosing than your 38 sessions, increasing the risk, yet my RO avoided it.
I use personal lubricant up my rear with my fingers and a 1/3 dose of Miralax everyday every morning.
I am going thru chemo and have a lot of bowel issues. Going from constipation to diahrhea. For constopitation i use a stool softener. You can take 1 to 3 tablets but one ususally works for me after a day.
Try wearing a depends (under your underwear) and coat the rear padding (globs and globs) with A & D Ointment. Discard used one and wear a fresh one often....(Sleep wearing one)..
Good Luck, Good Health and Good Humor.

have you considered installing a bidet? I know it helps me when I’m constipated. The one we have has a setting for the force of the water. Plus no more cold toilet seat, you use less T.P. and your butt is squeaky clean!
Sounds like an idea, thnks
My husband continues to have the same problem since 2022 when he completed 43 rt’s. His radiation oncologist told him to use Miralax. It’s been a lifesaver for him.
i had some trouble moving it down and out about 12 mo after radiation. The gastro office put me on high potency/quality probiotic and olive leaf extract (anti fungal) and i had performance increase within a day or so.
They said halt any fiber (metamucil) for a bit as it can bloom any fungus (i don’t understand that but i did what they say).
Later started fiber again. I reduced the prob. And olive leaf and things are .. ok now.
Thanks for feedback...its gotten better. Started using Metamucil couple times/day.
