Has anyone had an Urodynamic Study to see damage to the bladder due to radiation? What were the results? Was it worth it?

Urodynamic Study
I had urodynamic studies before and after radiation that showed the incredible improvement due to radiation.
Previously, I had mentioned I had a second stricture surgery and the after effect was the bladder no longer operating. The docs “hoped” it was traumtized and would recover over time. So far, not the case, therefore, the next step was urodynamics to determine if the bladder walls had been traumatized from radiation exposure. Ironically, the study is to determine incontinence or the opposite(me). Its probably a stretch.
I jad a urodynamics test early last year. It was not associated with radiation or any other cancer issue, so my reply may be of mo interest or value to you.
The test was simple, painless, and pretty quick. Nothing to it
Any good news is good, but what were the results? Why did you have the test?
I had it to determine what the condition of my cranky old bladder was. I had a *failed* TURP and had a Foley catheter way too long . All of this courtesy of a jackass of a urologist … now only a bad memory. My new urologist is as good as the old one was bad. So, it was the new urologist that ordered the urodynamics test and a MRI … voila, prostate freakin’ cancer.
As it turned out my bladder is in pretty good shape, *but* I am still not completely emptying my bladder even though I seem to pee normally. So, my urologist has me self-catheterizing twice a day. Whoopee …

I have radiation cystitis which was caused by having HDR Brachytherapy. There is a big burn on my bladder. The radiation cystitis has caused emergency episodes of acute urinary retention which is excruciatingly painful and can kill you if not treated promptly.
