Pretty much sums it up.

Who here is with Kaiser Los Angles Sunset? And which RO would you recommend.

Please, no Kaiser bashing, my hands are tied, so trying to make the best of it.

Thank you

PS. Still 2 years away from Medicare

I liked Dr Castanos (RO) and Dr Kulkarni (MO).

Thx

Dr Cosmatos (RO) maybe? He was brought up to me elsewhere. Good pedigree, residency at Kaiser, been there 26 years.

Yes, that's him. Very nice. Seems to know what he's doing.

How do you know all these doctors you recommend? Especially Kaiser, you obviously dont use Kaiser!!! Do you go and interview them?

To all others, I asked for civility in the responses.

I accompany men in my support groups on some of their doctor visits.

That’s so nice of you, Tall_Allen. Where is your support group located?

I am in NorCal. My employer was forced to move to Kaiser when Sutter and Blue Cross declined to bid on supplying their coverage packages. Reason given was that our workforce average age was too high. With Kaiser you need to have an advocating PCP that will assign an advocating specialist that is not afraid to refer out of network. A coworker, with a rare form of melonoma, used a clause in the Kaiser contract to get referred to a specialist at Stanford to get treatment that Kaiser did not offer. Saved his life.

Wow! You could get sick, so we won't cover you. That sucks.

Good luck in a corrupted system.

Very true. I found that Kaiser in LA refers to UCLA, for urgent ,matters when backed up.
