In randomized trials, acupuncture has shown to be useful for hot flashes in humans. Maybe, if I were a mouse with osteosarcoma, I might try it.

Yes acupuncture can be a good supporting therapy and I have used over the last 18 years. Not a cure however and you would need a good therapist

I have been receiving acupuncture for at least twenty years. I believe it has many benefits. Four years into stage four and I believe that it mitigates the aches and pains associated with treatment. It also helps me with mood swings. My advice is to try it. Not a cure but you will feel better. Weed is good too.

Absolutely. This is a 6,000 year medical tradition. Helps regulate body, helps appetite, reduces fatigue, nausea and more. I personally receive it weekly for my immune system (31 year breast cancer survivor, 4 years lymphoma). Been in continuous HUMAN use for millenia.

I have to agree with Tall_Allen’s amusing reply. I have found acupuncture to be useful for relieving back pain, muscle spasms and a persistent eye twitch. My sense of well being appears to increase after each treatment, which has secondary benefits. Although I was not expecting an improvement in well being this effect may still be psychosomatic. Use only as adjunctive therapy for side effects, minor aches and pains and maybe improving well being. Cheers, Phil

For me no. I had no success with acupuncture. I tried for one year and it did not help my Achillies tendon pain "chronic tendinosis" What took 90% of the pain away is 5 mg of creatine daily and I do not why creatine works for me.

With my collection of cha-skas (stuff on top of stuff) I never heard any of my many pin cushions complain either way..... I know they're a bit hyper..... on pins and needles all the time but like fighting Pca, you gotta do what you gotta do...................

Good Luck, Good Health and Good Humor.

Just had my first treatment Wednesday, relaxing and as many have stated my hot flashes are going down after abandoning Venlafaxine little by little till my first treatment. Personally I don’t feel it’s curative but it sure can help with many symptoms like pain etc.
