Theracurcumin results?

Can any of you folks out there who have given this a go tell me if it had any benefit on your brain fog issues?

I know Mateobeach mentioned he was giving it a shot. I am 18 mo on Orgovyx and very discouraged at the brain fog issues I am having. This looks like an option so searching for some feedback.

Thanks in advance!

One can easily change to lupron injections, or degarelix, and also save on costs.

Lupron causes brain fog too.

I thought one of the advantages of Orgovyx was milder side effects.

Yes, I was under that impression also, maybe I am just one of those that it affects more so. Thinking of checking out mono therapy with Casodex which may help with my bone issues also.

I was on Orgovyx for 55 weeks and was pleased with the lack of side effects.

I have a bottle on my table of that drug that starts with an "O" ends with an "X" myself , Not started taking.... yet. But from what I read in several med science papers it appears Asian Panax Ginseng in general can help with brain fog, but moreover research suggest it exhibits direct anti-cancer properties. I myself will give this herb a go. How many, include myself knew or know that there are several herbs that lower or take the peanuts out of your M&M's. I found out in research about Chaste Tree ( monks use it ), Reishi mushroom extract just to name two. Curcumin must be made bio available research a process called Liquid Protein Scaffold ( LPS ) for Curcumin . Hope I was of some help

On orgovyx for 19 months. No brain fog whatsoever. Put real turmeric (not a supplement) in all of my food. Does not alter taste and delivers so very many benefits.

I take 2800 mg curcumin with black pepper extract daily. I also eat 4 or 5 nuts when I take it for the fat which aids in absorption. On lupron 15 months with very minimal se.

Yes, I switched from a different preparation of curcumin to Theracurmin 6 months ago because of the impressive research on MBD. My impression is that my brain clarity and memory (verbal) is significantly improved over that time.

Thanks for the feedback. Yes I was hoping you had some decent results I may give this a shot. I think the brain fog is the worst side effect for me anyway, it is definitely worth trying.

Interesting - is it worth the price - looks like about $45/month? or maybe you found a cheaper brand.

I'm interested more in the effect on your PSA, if any. A lot of people out there claiming that curcumin would be a powerful cancer fighter, if only the absorption issue were addressed.

I’ve always meant to learn Italian properly and 11 weeks ago I finally started doing it using Duolingo. It has had a very positive impact on my thinking, mood, aural discrimination and fluency of speech. Should be available on prescription. I suspect learning any new skill might help.

I ck'd out Theracumin it seems a lot of sellers are using that name, I wonder how water soluble these brands are a simple 1 day mix and let stand test would show how they hold up in the mix.

I used to take curcumin but stopped when starting my radiotherapy and have been unsure since whilst on ADT whether there are issues as it may mask or alter PSA tests and or interfere with the action of the ADT - it is not advised for use during chemo or those women on HRT - so quite nervous of it now whilst still on ADT

Good point. Always pays to check out the interaction with whatever ADT drug you are taking. Just like alot of the supplements we all use as a "just in case" factor. Trouble is there is such a lack of study for interactions you are generally on your own figuring it out.
