Daughter has Ehlers-Danlos syndrome and it comes from her dad. He shows no symptoms per se but he does metabolize local anasthesia so quickly, it literally doesn't work. Daughter says that is a sign of the syndrome and she also has odd reactions to medications. Is it worth mentioning to docs? I mean no symptoms but it does explain some possible problems. I just don't want to have to try and explain something I barely understand if it won't make a difference.

Absolutely tell the doctors. It is then up to them to evaluate that information, understand the effect, and adjust the treatment plan if needed.
