MO just told me I need to be put on Bicautamide.

I smoke marijuana. I read that this has an effect on Bicautamide. Anybody have any experience or thoughts about this?

check to see if Delta-8 ( hemp derived) cannabinoid has the same detrimental effect as THC ( delta -9 ) marijuana derived.

If you like marijuana, you’ll “ love “ delta-8 cannabinoid and , if you want, it mixes perfectly with THC because it’s a derivative. Delta-8 is not banned by the government ( yet ) and available in CBD stores coast to coast or thru the mail. You can research it and , of course, ask your pcp. Prolly not much info on delta-8 yet.

Delta 8 occurs naturally in CBD in small amounts but the products for sale in these shops, the D8 is made with a chemical extraction. Cannabis flower is just that, no chemical used. I'm sticking with the natural flower myself.

I was just suggesting a potential alternative to cannabis that takes you to the same place . This if you have to give up thc flowers.

In either case you need to find out if either delta-8 and / or thc actually do interfere with your medication.

since you are “ smoking “ cannabis, you are releasing large amounts of unwanted tars and burn chemical byproducts into your lungs. Eating delta-8 or thc gummies is dramatically healthier and safer for you … first off. Tho more flavorful, smoking is , by far, the worse way to consume thc. It’s even dangerous if you smoke a lot. Both delta 8 and delta 9 gummies are infused with delicious turpines , so you don’t lose that entirely.

You need to find out from your pcp ..before any of this really matters.

yayahahahaya yayahahahaya. Turpines are killer. I love “ sniffing “ all the samples on display in the pot shops. I used to have a collection of different plastic film cans of kief that I kept in the freezer , just for sniffing. I had dozens of them at one time … every one a different wonderful flavor.

Film cannisters were always the "thing" but darn wish I had thought of samples to sniff in the freezer. Sounds fawntawstic.

Not too late though as you said with dispensaries. Can buy down to a gram in size and get quite a few strains to put in the freezer...hmmmm. Yes indeed lol.

I’m sure shops have kief as well. Most of the complex fragrances are in the kief but flowers have lots as well… both or either would probably work fine. It’s a lovely luxury to enjoy on cold winters nights …, plus sample occasionally if you have enough to spare.

Used to have a grinder that seperated the kief. Its up there with the terpenes and thc on the top of the list. Oh yea.

Yep , we are looking forward to Sven tomorrow night for sure. Getting / got all the necessities lined up - stocked. Last two Sven’s , neither one of us remember much , if any , of those yayayaya yayayayayaya. Think we started the festivities a bit early …not sure what happened.

In a bizarre twist of totally unfair fate, alcohol has little to no effect on me. Prolly due to ADT meds or small vessel white matter ADT brain damage. One of my most enjoyable last pleasures…..now rendered ineffective. Cripes …. Thank goodness for delta -8 gels combined with a gram of Jimbo green in a peanut butter cup. “ that “ will still get ‘er done buddy ….boy howdy yayay yayayayaya yayayayayayaya. Me too. I'm a cannabis consumer as well. I was on bicalutamide for about 5-6 months at the beginning of my treatment. Now on Orgovyx. Bicalutamide raised mt liver enzymes son I had to stop. My doc I believe was aware of mt cannabis consumption and never mentioned any possible negative effects of using both.

From my understanding over-consumption of Cannabis can affect your hormone balance. A little known effect is gynecomastia. How do I know that? When I expressed concern over my ADT induced boobs my urologist sent me, wait for it, for a mammogram (🤦‍♂️👀). The form I filled out asked about my cannabis use. I asked why they were asking and the answer was that they saw a good number of men coming in for this test that had cannabis use in common. This is an effect the industry wants to remain a secret.

Unfortunately with cannabis still illegal at the federal level colleges, institutions, and research labs can't legally acquire cannabis to run randomised trials on. So we are still getting a lot of anecdotal and poor grade studies for information. Funded by who knows who.

The click bait, headline grabbing supposed information on cannabis goes back and forth the way the supposed information on coffee does. Good for you today bad for you tomorrow. Bad for you today good for you tomorrow.

I needed your expert advice with those. Those Runtz labels are stiff and want to curl up on the ends , the safety seals aren’t much better. They work great on flat cardboard surfaces tho. Good thing Jimbo nixed the project, I would have had to wrap all those with wide plastic mailing tape to keep them in place.

Curled up. Adhesive issues. Now we're talkin printin/convertin talk lol. Yea installed/serviced the new sold presses and had to consult, advise, experiment, and invent ways to solve issues individual to the type of jobs running on the press sometimes. Those were the days.

I still sell parts for the presses from home business since the company closed in 2016.

One of my best friends still has a company that makes/sells the add on die stations equipment and hot stamp dies to due holograms etc.

Was able to zoom in and looks like those might have been produced with Flexographic printing.
