Bicalutamide 50 mg/ Leuprolide

Decipher came back 0.82 high risk. Decided to start treatment today Bicalutamide followed by Leuprolide next week. Leaving on vacation next week for couple months in mountains hoping not to have many side affects.

Wish I Could promise that you won't have side effects but they shouldn't be too bad. They gradually get worse but are mostly tolerable. Stay active.... Hiking would be an excellent way to deal with side effects. I tend to do my hiking( not so much any more as my right knee is new and my left is fubar) around Mt. Adams and Tahoma

No one can predict your reactions, but exercise and being active are beneficial in limiting side effects as well as maintaining a healthy diet. Good sleep and a positive attitude are also big. I've had little more than mild hot flashes once in a while. Not anything that stops me. On the go and active all day.
