I wrote a post about my husband's passing last week and received many heartfelt messages. I am writing to acknowledge them all and to thank you all. I tried to write thanks individually but the site has a limit on how many you can write at a time and gets hung if one writes more than a few at a time. I did not want to leave the messages unacknowledged. Many thanks to all of you.

Cancer - sting in the tail
Thank you for all your participation.
I am so sorry for the passing of your husband...I cant imagine how you feel. I was not involved in the review of your husbands posts so dont want to make any entry in that regard. But I noted this in your husbands BIO;
Bio spw1; "Family history of PCa in uncle, grandfather and great grandfather. "
This meant something to me as my Dad and Grandfather had PCa...so it runs in our family. What I read is that when this does siblings, sons and other men in the bloodline should seek Germline testing...I would have greatly wanted to know if I was more disposed to this disease. I was of course clueless as when I was in my 30-40-50's cancer was what happened to the 'other guy,' never was it going to touch me...well, it did.
Check this out from Min 44:32 thru 46:52;

Who knows...a good can come from anything, even a great, painful loss...think about letting all men in the bloodline know that there are very effective tests they can take to determine if they are at more risk. Then its up to them.
All the best. Rick
Hi Rick, gremlin testing did not show any mutations for risk for my husband. Somatic testing showed a couple.
