Using AI Against Research Papers.

There's now a website that allows you to upload research papers and use AI to answer questions.

So basically you upload the paper, and you're allowed to ask questions based on the contents.

I've only quickly uploaded some test papers and looks promising. It looks like it's relatively new and is a bit slow so there may be future releases to improve on it.

You're allowed to have a restricted free account with so many uploads etc.

Might be worth checking it out. It could potentially help understanding research papers by explaining results in layman's terms.

Hope it helps.

Considering that my Research Professor of Genitourinary Diseases once said that few people really under research papers, I don’t think I trust who ever programmed the computer that doles out information based on some unknown person. Good luck.

By that same logic you shouldn’t trust anyone on this site, because they won’t understand these research papers either.

I think the objective is to try to use it so that you can understand the research by your questions. You should always cross check any info and never assume that whatever you’re told is correct - even from your Professor.

I am well read enough to have discussions, but the only person I trust is my Professor of Genitourinary Diseases. My first guy died, but my second is very capable. I live in the world of academia and research where knowledge rules. Yet, academia differs on treatment in some cases

I do acknowledge the vital service that Talk Allen provides. He is up of all the SOC available and what’s coming down the pike. Sometimes I disagree, but that is no mountain to climb. This disease of ours hits most differently and a lot has to do with scope of disease and existing co-morbidity factors.

Thanks. Very helpful site. It would have saved many hours of research time had it been available to me. I am a professional researcher and understand the limitations of AI. Of course, listen to your docs and I have some of the best in the world. But my research paid off personally. No doctor has the time to fully educate us on complex issues and we often have difficult choices to make. I prefer to make them as fully informed as I can be.
