I would avoid Ac225 monotherapy because of the side effect dry mouth. But Dr. Sathekge in Pretoria SA usually has sufficinet Ac225 available.

My husband only had one treatment but he did not have any dry mouth side effect whatsoever.

You can ask Scott Tagawa at Weill Cornell. He combines it with J591 - a very specific ligand that may not have the same side effects as PSMA-617

Consider having tandem treatment with Lu 177 PSMA and Ac 225 PSMA to reduce the chances of severe problems with the salivary glands when Ac 225 PSMA is done alone.

There are clinical trials going on with Ac 225 J 591 which is different from Ac 225 PSMA 617 or I&T.

J 591 is an antibody which has a long elimination time, I believe several weeks leading to a long exposure to radiation which may cause suppression of the bone marrow. The good news is that this ligando does not affect the salivary glands or the kidneys with the intensity they may be affected with Ac 225 PSMA 617 or I&T.
