Lookin good. Years ago when fajita's were starting to be the rave I thought that was just what they were kind of, a fad. Then on a work trip in Houston I ordered Fajita's and OH YEA muchos delirious. (mis spell intentional lol).
Yes to black beans. My favorite Mexican soup is Mexico City soup served in fine restraunts in Mexico City. Apparently also called tortilla soup especially here in the states but have never found it quite as good here.
sounds like great fun buddy. I love those fajitas that come still frying on the cast iron skillet or plate. Not many dental patients have a great , fun, doctor like you.
I gotta say that you are considerably different than my dentist …just say’in. A cleaning, new set of X-rays and a barbecue in your backyard…. “ THATS “ full service dentistry. Yayahahahaya yayahahahaya
“ walked older gents out to their cars “ …. Yayahahahaya no older gents here … just contemporaries . 😂😂😂😂
rotflol …. “ floss “ …. Zometa has turned my teeth into a lot of broken chips and pieces sticking up yayahahahaya that happened the most in my 30 month era ( now 52 months ) I’m lucky I have stubs to chew with yayahahahaya yayahahahaya. Still they work pretty well. My dentist put “ caps “ on the front ones where you could see the broken teeth but those lasted only about 4 months each time. I was getting Zometa every 30 days which prevented my letting anyone work on my mandible. I could use floss to tie the broken pieces back in tho …maybe yayayayaya.
Same here. Chunks fell out. Filling fell out. Had to stop my self mid-sentence so I wouldn't freak out my wife. " What the...." " What is it dear"? "I think there was a bone in the food". lol. For some reason after the first year and a half or so more stable.
about the same here ….. nothing much new in the last year or so. Guess all the cracked ones are done cracking for the most part. Doesn’t seem to slow down my eating ….yayahahahaya 😂😂😂
Yea no tooth pain oddly. One day at a time. I think my teeth will be "good enough" to last me. That's all I'm sayin. More detail and I'll sound morbid or fatalistic.
One of my many hats was final inspection of printing presses before they could ship involving printing on them testing everything. Sometimes I would ask an older engineer gentlemen at the company to discuss with me my findings and to watch the printed cross hairs live on the video monitor for registration performance as I took the press thru different scenarios. It was hard to say when it was good enough always looking to tweak a machine more here and there. I would ask his opinion and loved it when he would say "commercially acceptable, ship it" with a smile on his face. Its kind of like my teeth. Commercially acceptable.
yep , same here. I have plenty enough teeth left to eat with , I’m not going to spend $40,000 for a full set of implants just to leave my wife with 12 years of payments after I’m gone. I’m not going to have a funeral and I’m going into an urn , so ……. .
If things got worse or pain started to happen , things might change but I doubt that will happen before I’m gone. I’ve had a large number Zometa infusions , nearly 50 of them , along with Lupron …. I’d think I would want to consider the condition of all my bones , especially my mandible. My friend Mark , Urang on this group, decided to have some cosmetic dental work ….this after 12 years of aPCa treatment at the time ( 23 years total ) , the dentist thought his mandible bone wasn’t strong enough to hold posts , kinda soft, and a few months later he developed necrosis and had to have a steel plate implant. I “ definitely “ don’t want to go down that road. It was ugly.
Dentures are always an option if push comes to shove, I don’t want to mess with that at this point. Like you, I’m eating just fine , it’s a non issue …. No need to pile more on my plate unnecessarily yayayya ya. Besides, I’m so strikingly handsome that no one notices the snaggle tooth thing . 😂😂😂
Ha, ha snaggle tooth is approptiate. Urn going on for me too. ( I better knock it off I suddenly realized I'm in Randy's QOL post ooops ).
3 years on Zometa now. I recently read it might be safe for 10 years. And yep its the day at a time thing really. I have thought about opting for dentures if faced with massive tooth loss. So far enough tooth to eat.
I have one denture/"flipper" as my right bicuspid for 18 years and it was a permanent denture prior to that.
