I wonder if anyone has experienced the same problem I’m having with posts, replies and now more recently private messages.
If I start to type in the ‘reply’ section I’m not able to put in any spaces which means the letters just go one after the other resulting in me having to draft in Word and then copy and paste. Once I’ve pasted, I then can only operate if I keep within the text I’ve inserted but I can’t delete and so if I want to change have to do back to the draft.
I’ve been in touch with technical support and they’ve responded but I don’t think they can work out the problem. It’s been going on now for nearly a month and during that time PM’s were fine but just today I now have to do the same in PM.
Also, the ‘layout’ isn’t quite right for the ‘reply’ section and the ‘PM’ section both squashed on whatever went before. It must be something to do with my laptop which is a MacBook Pro as I’m not having the same problem on my iPhone or my iPad but I find using these for HU really inconvenient and time consuming.

I'm sure that's probably it. To respond to you I logged on via Google Chrome and had no trouble replying so I guess it's got something to do with Safari. I hadn't thought of trying google before. Guess I'll just have to go via Google.
I'm using Edge, and for several months my replies often go poof before I can complete them !! samee thing, typein WP and paste into HU reply....better stop now before this disappears!!!
I’m experiencing the same problems. On iPad as well as on laptop MacBook Air. Have to compose in Word documents then copy and paste. Tech support needs to correct the problem. Wonder if it is specific to Safari?
Yep it's the same for me. I can insert new text and punctuation within the text I typed but not new words and I can't delete. Hadn't thought of using the forward arrow. Must be a Safari problem as MateoBeach noted it's the same for him.
So glad Paul you are experiencing the same. Helped me not feel it's just me! I'm having no trouble on Google Chrome but I keep forgetting and log in on Safari. I explained the problem in great detail ...probably 4 times... to IT support and they did get back to me but to no avail. I ended up having to sort it myself.
Computer teacher here....do a scan of your Mac then unplug power, shut down then restart in Safe Mode. I expect you won't have the problem in safe. If you don't have the problem in safe then restart in non safe mode. You most likely will not have the problem.
