1/8/23 Aloha, dockam, seeing mastodon teeth among your museum photos led me to ask if mastodons had prostates & breasts. It appears they did. The following PubMed article states, "A study of evolution indicates that the prostate and breast appeared at the same time 65 million years ago with the development of mammals."
"All current epidemiologic evidence and suggestions for preventing prostate and breast cancer in humans indicates that we should return to the original diets (high fruit & vegetables) under which our ancestors evolved."
Thats ok with me had PC since June last year, also have diabetes 2, into the bargain, high fruit and vegetables, but got to act the dinosaur so plenty of unprocessed meat into the bargain!๐๐ฆ๐ฆ
1/8/23 Mahalo for posting, Adlon57! You're in England? That means you are 12 hours ahead of me because I live in Honolulu, Hawaii. Thanks for having good cheer. My hubby was diagnosed with PCa G8-9 Stage IIIa in 9/22. He's on Eligard + AA; has not yet started on radiation treatment or decided what his treatment plan is. I'm trying to learn lots from HealthUnlocked while I can before I become overwhelmed with hubby's care.
I was "caught early" adenocarcinoma grade 7 halfway through radiotherapy sessions, but still a bit wary of reactions to my colourful medical conditions๐ฅด๐ค
Thanks for sharing. I enjoy the QOL posts. One of these days Iโm going to put a QOL tribute post to my guy and the joys we found during his journey. Just havenโt gotten there yet. Keep them coming!
