As we leave 2022 behind and rapidly approach 2023, are there any new studies or trials on the horizon that may actually help us who already have stage 4?

Hello,

If you live in Canada or the USA you might be aware that Pluvicto (Lutetium-177) was approved this year for the treatment of men with advanced PCa. This was the result of the world-wide VISION trial. The problem for many men is that Lutetium has only been approved in North America for use after chemotherapy. The trial I am on, the SPLASH trial, is looking at approving Lutetium before chemotherapy. Big difference! In other words, if SPLASH has a successful outcome, it would mean for many men Lutetium would be available much earlier in their treatment plan. Keep in mind that Lutetium does not work for every man but for many men a positive result could mean potentially huge benefits. Hope that helps!

Keep hope alive for the newly dxed! But after a few years aboard this sinking ship ,We deal with what mod med presents us . APC has not been figured out yet . That is why we are all here . Searching for Hope and miracles . One ,can not exist without the other ! 🙏
