Odd?? PSA 10.88 to 10.68 whit no treatment yet!

The nurse just took my husband for his first Pluvicto treatment at UCLA🙏 However, looking at his lab work I noticed a drop on the PSA. He hasn't started any treatment yet. We greatfully take it! There's hope🙏

That's just random fluctuations - less than the error in the test.

No blood test is always stagnant. Yout potassium,,

CBC, and every other blood test changes a bit everytime you have them. Hopefully it continues

It is not only patients that fall into the trap of thinking that small PSA fluctuations are meaningful, doctors, who should know better, often make the same mistake.

Look at the link below, this guy had had his PSA measured every day for 28 days, no treatment, just regular life.

Note how it swings around of its own accord!

He's cured! Just knowing the Pluvicto was coming scared off the cancer! Just kidding, it was just a random fluctuation in his PSA reading. Good luck on your husband's treatment, I hope it's a total success!

The doctor I see said PSA fluctuations can be related to blood circulation near the prostate. He mentioned bike riding may increase PSA. My PSA increased from 2.9 to 4.3 in 14 months so the doctor I see referred me to an oncologist. A week before I saw the oncologist my PSA decreased to 3.4. I do vigorous exercise some days and sit in front of a computer on other days.
