Where I lived in very rural Indiana as a child, we had 1000s of those living in all the roadside ditches. They live in holes and are sticking out of a hole in the ground. You stick a knife behind them blocking their tunnel and they are easy to catch. We always called them mud bugs and only used them for fishing bait yayahahahaya.

Years later , visiting NOLA , I ate them several times in cookouts, they were delicious. Sucking the juice out of their heads puts some people off tho. Yayahahahaya yayahahahaya

Yea, also had them in the lil streams in Hawaii, just played with them as a kid. My son, his wife and my two lil granddaughters are in Louisiana, and in season, you could go drive up to lil wooden shacks and buy a few pounds and wash it down with Abita Amber Lager abita.com/brews#

Yum yum yum. Love Cajun food. After 17 years of PCa and still alive and well, I will continue do volunteer work, spread the Good News, and enjoy live, eating what ever I want (not being a pig). Everyday I wake up I know that the Lord still has a purpose for me to fulfill His plan of letting others the love of God for us. PS: Gonna look in our local “bi” Walmart to see if they have that in my city (Texas).
