My heart is still aching from 14 yr old Kaedin, killed when a truck ran over him and his bike, in Tehachapi on 10/24 and more men here passing.

I'm so very sorry to hear of Daddy's passing. I hope that it was peaceful and with family and friends there to say goodbye.

Take the time to grieve when you need to. Sometimes family. friends or clergy can be helpful---and sometimes not. At times we need to be alone. Let the good memories come back at those times.

To feel the love and the belonging between each other there is usually a price that comes due, the separation from each other by death. We all are subject to that, but I wouldn't trade the love I have felt in life from others to avoid the pain.
