In my opinion, pretty good. When I went metastatic in 2004, I started with ADT (Lupron) with chemotherapy. Stayed on Lupron for six years until I was comfortable to stop the injections. I was never in a rush to stop ADT nor “take a vacation.” I wish you the best in killing the little bastards.

Are you doing any treatment at all these days?

in reply to dhccpa

No, not since 2010. I have been most fortunate. At 75 life is good with quarterly undetectables.....

Which scans did you do after chemotherapy? Your PSA is very low. Do you still have your prostate ?

Has not ordered any scans yet.He seems to be working off the psa levels.I am still on hormone treatment which suppresses the cancer.I feel a 1000 times better since off chemo.I am a first aid trainer and still working 3/4 days a week .I also worked while on chemo, but always very tired after training and slept 10/12/hours a day. What is your situation?

i am already more than 4 years on ADT alone and my PSA is still under 1. Started slowly to rise since a year ago from 0.2. I have mets in my spine and had sciatica nerve pain. Still have some neurological symptoms but I don't know the exact cause of it. Could you please fill out your profile as it is not obvious your situation. Are you oligometastatic and therefore still maybe curable?

I am in Sydney. Where are you?

ok, i now understand that you actually did not have a lung cancer. Your prostate cancer spread to your lung.

i said Keytruda as I believed that you also had a real lung cancer. Thanks you don't have a real lung cancer. That is good.

my PSA nadir was 0.12. it didn't go down more and that is understandable as I still have a prostate.

I am Level 4 and had VMAT-RT 20 Fx and 6 months of ADT.

ADT(Lupron Depot) started 05/31/2020) for 24 weeks and VMAT-RT 3Gy X 20Fx .

RT last 20 Rx from 2020/06/08 - 2020/07/07.

My PSA went from 20.4 APS μg/L down to 0.03 APS μg/L and as of (2022/09/07).

My PSA nadir has beenON for over 2 years.
