After treatment with LU177, do the treated metastases disappear definitively? otherwise they reappear after how long

Hi ALL
After treatment with LU177, do the treated metastases disappear definitively? otherwise they reappear after how long
Best regards
In the Vision trial the radiographic progression free survival was 8.7 months.I had LU 177 PSMA in 2016 and the mets have remained PSMA negative so far. I have been in A DT and Nubeqa for 2 years because PSA increased in 2020. Last PSMA PET /CT was negative in October 2021.
The Mets are still visible, though? Just with no uptake on PET? If you can clarify, I'd appreciate. I wasn't sure if bone Mets ever really disappeared. Thanks
It depends on the size of the mets, the dose applied, if you are a good responder and if you add an antiandrogen while being treated which increases the PSMA expression. In my case new mets appeared at different places.
Some will, some won't
I had a good response with LU-177. The PSA was down to 1.6 from 18 but two years later with no ADT treatment it rose to 19.So in my case it gave me two years extra life but it did not cure anything & cost heaps. $10K aud each time.
