Onset of Short Stabbing Shock-Like Pain in Lower Leg

Hi, anyone experience these in association with APC? They started a few days ago and are increasing in number and duration. Feels as if they could be nerve pain. They are isolated, however, to a quite small area of the tibia. Nothing running up and down the leg.

I wonder if they are associated with Orgovyx, which I have been taking for nearly four months. I welcome your comments! Boonster.

That kind of pain could happen in peripheral neuropathy. If they persist you could consult with a neurologist. I have a peripheral neuropathy and I occasionally have fulgurant pain episodes in the left big toe.

Thanks for suggesting peripheral neuropathy. They seem to me to be nerve-related.

Symptoms are important and muscle spasm type symptom expression difficult to define. Treatment outcome based is one way to deifier origin. I occasionally get leg symptoms maybe like yours, found addition of quality trace minerals and local myofascial treatments very effective until I forget and get really active. Are yours 24/7? resting? Night? Related to activity?

Thanks for your reply. Mine are not 24/7. Nor are they related to time or activity.

I do think they may be related to body twitches throughout the day. These scattered twitches also have begun since I started taking Orgovyx four months ago.

I hope to get a better idea of what's going on when I go to a Johns Hopkins oncology clinic later today.

I have stabbing pains in the legs and feet (pins and needles) and numbness in my right foot at night that started withe the Zytiga and continues with Xtandi. My Oncologist recommended that I see a neurologist who tested my nerves in the loser leg and found nothing wrong. He put me on Gabapenitin (more meds) which has little effect. Although Nephropathy is not listed as a side effect of either med you can't convince me that there isn't some connection.

All the best, Tom

Thank you. Good luck!!! And prayers!! I experienced leg pains at times, occasionally spasms primarily at night toe and ankle curling. With the correct minerals I have not experienced that for months. Let me know what they say. Merry Christmas
