Gleason 9- EBRT/ADT?

What is the recommended treatment for a 78 year-old with prostate cancer Gleason score 9 + possible metastatic disease? Is EBRT with ADT ok?

What do you mean by "possible" metastatic disease? Metastases have either been detected or they haven't. It dictates what kind of therapy is used.

Depends on where those "possible" mets are located.

Get at least two opinions. Talk to MO and possibly another prostate cancer specialist ASAP.Follow the suggested SOC (Standard Of Care) recommendations for the likely best results.

I'm 79 and going on 4 years survival with a Stage 4 DX and 1300+ PSA.

I'm into my 4th SOC therapy as each ran its course and we moved on to next. Doing OK today when I was told I wouldn't see the end of 2018.

Have hope and keep fighting the beast.

Same expiration date... end of 2018, but still here, just not as fresh as I once was...

I followed the Stamepede protocol…. Did Lupron and Zytiga for just one year… Radiation to prostate and Sbrt to the one rib met.
