Anyone have any experience with them?

Looks like founder Dr. Robert Leibowitz has passed on.

He is at least 80.

There is one other doc there. Looks more like 50.

Too "out there" for my taste. They don't publish, which always makes me suspicious. Patients have to sign a disclaimer saying "I know this treatment will kill me."

Treatment protocol seem to be like modified BAT

It is a very high risk for us stage # 4 guys . It can not be considered until you are undetechable and pc free . IMO . I’m no expert . After six yrs of no t I sure would love to try it . Docs say no.. It is a brave move . Patrick does t and so do others . Someday they might tell us “ Sorry , we were wrong about t . Sorry for all of the torture” ! ✌️

LOL- anyone can publish any nonsense they want in a book. There are all sorts of bizarre things in books. If there were reliable data they would publish in peer-reviewed journals, the way the good folks at Johns-Hopkins do.

Not BAT, just high-dose testosterone. Very dangerous for many patients.

I would not trust anyone other than Docs that had done the original clinical trials on BAT with Dr. Denemede (sic?).

That would include Sartor at Tulane.

You want someone with some experience.

Sartor, at one time, was willing to do straight high levels of testosterone. He probably still is.

That never made sense to me. Even if straight testosterone works, why not try the BAT first. If BAT fails then you walk away with the least amount of damage. If BAT works for you, then try straight testosterone.

Why would you not do it any other way? At least until they can predict with some assurance whether or not the testosterone will work.

And I would not trust any Doc willing to do BAT or straight Testosterone on you unless and until your androgen deprivation therapy has stopped working. You only consider that after ADT fails you, not before. I think it is malpractice to do otherwise.

When I took a quick look, they had published a lot.... though perhaps not recently.

Not since 2009- no follow-up to the crazy shit they were doing. Probably with good reason.

I know an MO that worked there and he was so disappointed with the results that he left. There are hundreds of trials out there. If this really worked consistently why would they not even publish in a peer reviewed journal.

I believe I know to which MO you are referring. He told me that some of the "failures" were never published.

I never understood it, but Dr Myers was intensely against them, called Dr L a huckster or car salesman- and Dr Myers was known for thinking outside the box.

Thanks

Meyers is an interesting guy, I have his book and have watched some of his videos on line.

Just say no.
