HBO TREATMENTS

My hubby on his eighth day of HBO therapy. We are both interested in hearing from others that went thru this for radiation cystitis and how many scans they had before the bleeding stopped and how many treatments they had in total. my hubby is scheduled for 40 sessions. Thx in advance

I have received HIFU/Turp/Proton Radiation/bladder neck surgery, In the past 3 plus years.Diagnosed with radiation cystitis 10 plus months ago. Started HBOT June 2021. I have completed 42 treatments, I'm scheduled for 60. At this point virtually no side effects. He probably won't notice improvement until about 10 treatments. My Hematuria ( blood in urine ) starting treatment was virtually daily. I've had almost no hematuria since around HBOT # 20. Other symptoms, bladder spasms, urgency , retention, frequent bedtime bathroom visits ,etc. Have improved dramatically. The treatments feel like 2 steps forward one step backward as far as getting better. Don't be discouraged, data shows one will continue to improve over time , years after completing treatment.
